Google Maps!

Using Google Maps is particularly easy.

Latitude is the number of degrees north or south of the equator.  90 Deg. N is the North Pole.  90 Deg. S is the South Pole.  On computers, by convention, N Lats are given in positive numbers and S Lats are given negative numbers.  A latitude of zero is the equator.

Longitude is the number of degrees east or west of the prime meridian.  180 degrees east and 180 degrees west both refer to (generally speaking) the International Date Line.  By convention, computers give E Longs positive numbers and W Longs negative numbers.

Marquette, MI is approximately  46 Deg. 33 Minutes North Lat,  87 Deg. 24 Minutes, W longitude.

On a computer, the lat is 46.55  Long is -87.4

The @ means latitude followed by longitude

This gets me all the coffee shops in the general area of the location.
